Did you attend the Boys and Girls Club in the 1960s and 1970’s?

My name is Lauren Cooper, and I am a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania. I am contacting you because of the Penn Knox Neighborhood Association's involvement in the efforts to designate the Germantown Boys Club building as a protected site.

I am in the beginning stages of a project about arts and vocational training programs offered through neighborhood Boys Clubs in the 1960s and 1970s. I am hoping to record oral histories of individuals who were involved with these types of programs, either as students or administrators.

Would the Penn Knox Neighborhood Association be able to put me in contact with anyone who was involved with the Germantown Boys Club during the the 1960s or '70s? If you know of anyone connected to your association who may be willing to share their stories, I would greatly appreciate it.
