Howell Park is in the middle of Penn Knox and we are now officially in the Friends of the Parks System. This was created to engage the communities in caring for their parks since our large city cannot afford to do it all. We have a small group of volunteers and would love to have more!
The city will help us:
Loan tools and equipment for cleaning and maintenance
Provide a Seasonal Horticulturalist for advice on plants and plantings
By giving grants up to $1000 for special projects
Set up a screen and projector for movie nights
and more!
